Welcome to Senior One English Language! This course will help you develop confidence and competence in listening, speaking, reading and writing. You will strengthen your vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading comprehension, creative writing and oral communication skills through practical activities, discussions and exercises.
Throughout the course, you will explore interesting topics drawn from everyday life, including personal life and family, finding information, food, markets, children at work, the environment and pollution, urban and rural life, travel, and experiences of secondary school.

Senior 1 Mathematics provides competency-based learning experiences designed to develop learners’ mathematical understanding, problem-solving, reasoning, communication, creativity and practical application of knowledge. The course includes clear explanations, worked examples, learner-centred activities, real-life tasks, activities of integration, assessments and digital learning resources aligned with Uganda’s Lower Secondary Competency-Based Curriculum.
